Housing Navigator Posting

The Homeless Alliance of WNY is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housing Navigator to support individuals transitioning to permanent housing under New York State’s Medicaid 1115 Waiver. The Housing Navigator will assist eligible Medicaid members with housing search, application, move-in, and transition support, working in close coordination with the Social Care Navigator (SCN), health plans, and Coordinated Entry (CE).

Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program Coordinator Posting

Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the HUD-funded Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) projects in Erie/Niagara counties and coordinate with community partners around youth services, with a special focus on youth leadership, and supporting youth with lived experience in the community. Additionally, coordinate and continue evolving the community-developed plan for ending youth homelessness.

Shelter and Outreach Systems Coordinator Job Posting

The Shelter and Outreach Systems Coordinator will support the coordination and collaboration of shelter and outreach programs with CoC policies and processes. This role involves fostering collaboration between ESG-funded providers and the CoC, ensuring that these programs are fully integrated into Coordinated Entry (CE) and other CoC-wide initiatives. The Coordinator will also focus on addressing service gaps, enhancing data quality, and promoting equitable access to resources.

Housing Systems Coordinator Job Posting

The Housing Systems Coordinator will serve as a Landlord Engagement Specialist, focusing on recruitment and education of landlords for CoC/ESG-funded programs. This position will improve overall housing options available to our clients, resulting clients’ securing permanent housing more quickly and efficiently. You’ll champion creative housing models, including shared housing —where clients share rent and utilities—to alleviate housing burden and foster peer support.
