The 1st Edition is Out Now!
The 1st edition of the “Continuum Chronicle” provides readers with an “Inside look” at the work of outreach workers, non-profits, and other Important players in our community. The newsletter also showcases local events, news, and resources.
The “Continuum Chronicle” was created to help highlight the Incredible work being carried out by organizations and Individuals In our community. The new platform also features local events, news and resources in the homelessness network.
Our first edition features a story about local outreach workers building trust with unsheltered Individuals. The story outlines the Important connection that front line workers make with homeless Individuals In order to help link them to resources and Information on housing. Local Homelessness “savant,” Will Marcy Proves that a bottle of water, pair of socks, and a little conversation can go a long way. As he puts It, “the people need to know that someone has their back.”
In our Inaugural edition, we feature a local organization known as “Harvest House.” This organization provides a litany of Incredible supports and services to local populations. The organization supplies food, free clothing and free dental and medical services to many Individuals. Harvest House reports supporting over 14,000 community members annually.
The newsletter also features updates from the Homeless Alliance on CoC Trainings, Youth Group updates, HMIS certification, and general announcements.
